LOCAL LOVE: Scout Living

Welcome to another edition of Local Love, where we shine a light on some of our favorite Sacramento spots. Tucked between rivers and surrounded by farmland, Sacramento has quietly built a reputation for incredible food, a thriving creative scene, and a laid-back, unpretentious charm. Whether it’s farm-to-fork restaurants, wellness spots, or tucked-away gems that we swear by, there’s always something worth discovering here.
In our series highlighting local businesses we love, this month we’re featuring Scout Living, one of my absolute favorite consignment shops in Sacramento.
If you’re into mid-century modern, this place is a goldmine. They’ve got everything from furniture and lighting to vintage art and home accents, all beautifully curated and fairly priced. The quality is consistently great, and the selection is always rotating—so even if you stop by often (like I do), there’s always something new to fall in love with.
The shop is easy to wander through, and the people there are super friendly and down-to-earth. It’s one of those places you walk into and immediately feel inspired—whether you’re just browsing or hunting for something specific.
